You have the option of switching sound schemes here. So you could download and/or record the sound of a typewriter you like and use that with Typewriter Keyboard. The thing, I liked about Typewriter Keyboard, is that it lets you select the sound(s) you want to assign.

Unfortunately I liked having the sounds on because it notified me when one of my friends went online or messaged me, now I'm just going to have to rely on my eyesight.There’s something about the sound that a typewriter makes, when you, type-write a kind of a… therapuetic value associated with the sounds of those keystrokes. I don't know about how they do it, but it just sounds so dumb, some people might like it and that's ok, that's why they should just give us the option to change these sounds or add our own or something in the settings menu, that way it's fair for everyone.Īt this rate I'm just going to turn the sounds off, or mute Steam or something.
